Vehicle Description
Nicknamed "Copper Blazer" this custom topless 1972 Chevrolet Blazer
is a one-of-a-kind, no-expense-spared professional custom build
with numerous custom design features. This Blazer was featured at
the 2021 SEMA show in the Mothers booth. The bumpers have been
tucked and re-shaped with the rear bumper lowering electronically
to reveal the gas filler. The door handles and taillight bezels are
billet aluminum and the side exit exhaust surrounds were custom
designed and machined to match the gauge bezels on the custom dash
panel inside. The Translucent Copper Forgeline wheels match the
Whipple supercharger under the hood and are the inspiration behind
the Copper Blazer name. The powerplant is a Translucent Copper
painted 2.9-liter Whipple supercharged 6.2-liter LS3 crate motor.
The engine breathes through a cold air intake that ties into the
matching core support panels and custom inner fenders. Other
under-hood features include Concept One pulleys, RingBrothers
billet hinges, Billet Specialties valve covers, hidden coil packs,
stainless cooling pipes and XRP Hypalon hose and fittings
throughout. The power is sent through a built, paddle-shifted 6L80
6-speed automatic transmission turning a custom fabricated Ford
9-inch housing with a Currie Twin Track differential. The Blazer's
Nascar-style long-arm rear suspension system ensures all the power
is properly planted to the ground. High-quality RideTech suspension
components, AccuAir management and their ENDO tank system provide
an aggressive stance and allow the Blazer to sit over the massive
Forgeline wheels, 20x10 upfront and 21x13.5 at the rear. Stopping
is handled using Hydraboost power braking through a Baer 14-inch
Pro+ system. Spent gases are sent through headers feeding a custom
fabricated, fully tucked 3-inch stainless exhaust system with oval
tube "up and overs" that fit between the differential and body when
the truck is aired down and then finishes with side exit cut-outs
in the lower quarters. The one-off leather and suede interior and
custom stereo system were done by renowned DJ Designs Interiors in
Hayward, CA. It features custom designed and machined bezels and
accents around all the Dakota Digital gauge faces, paddle shifter
handles, push button starter, and other controls. It also has a
tilt column topped with a copper Billet Specialties steering wheel,
custom center console with cup holders, air conditioning, power
windows and USB outlets. There's also a custom stereo system with
large LED display. This Blazer features high-tech lighting
throughout with Dapper Lighting halos up front and sequential LED
taillights. Earned the Builder's Choice award at The Classic at
Pismo Beach 2021.
