Vehicle Description
This is a 2-passenger 1903 Oldsmobile curved dash Runabout
convertible with tiller style right hand drive steering. It is
powered by a 7hp engine equipped with horizontal drip oiling,
Holley side draft carburetor, jump-spark ignition and a copper disc
radiator. Power runs through a planetary 2-speed forward and
reverse transmission. The wheelbase is 66 inches and the car rolls
on wood-spoke artillery-style wheels and 28X3 Clincher tires.
Records indicate the Runabout was restored in 1958, the engine was
refurbished in 1999 and the top was redone in the early 2000s. It
has a long-standing history in Colorado as it has been registered
in Colorado since its original purchase in Telluride, Colorado.
Prior owners displayed the vehicle in various museums so the
purchase will include some museum informational display boards.
