For Sale: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro in Charlotte, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

If you want to create a world class resto-mod, there are a few simple rules to follow. For starters, base your build around a popular model. Keep the paint scheme memorable, the wheels tasteful and make sure to dial in the stance. And for best results, throw in plenty of power, a capable chassis and a tailored interior that's comprised of carefully chosen materials. It's much more difficult than it sounds, but this exceptional Camaro adheres to that formula for an outcome that's nothing short of spectacular. Mixing 350 cubic inches of smooth LT1 small block with a tough 5-speed, dashing Houndstooth upholstery, and striking red and white skin, virtually no piece of this awesome F-Body was left unimproved. And if you're ready to rule the road and stop the show, it's the killer classic your heart desires!

THE BEST COLORS

The beneficiary of a detailed, ground-up restoration that spared absolutely no expense, this slick Chevy is the product of A LOT of time spent sweating details. A series of solid body panels displays excellent fit and world-class finish. Vivid Victory Red two-stage looks spectacular under crisp white Rally Stripes. And the result is one very well done pavement scorcher that'll drop jaws and turn heads wherever it roams!

When it comes to style, most muscle cars were virtually perfect from the factory. Take one look at this sweet Camaro and you'll see exactly what we're talking about! At the front of the car's painted stripes, a stylish Rally Sport grille hangs a bright "Z/28" badge between a guarded bumper, a Camaro-branded header and a traditional D80 spoiler. That header fronts a "302" branded Cowl Induction Hood, which shades a tinted greenhouse that's traced in polished stainless and cleared by polished wipers. That glass gets reflected in a stylish factory mirror, which perfectly complements factory door handles and small factory markers. Ornate fender emblems lead requisite Rally Sport rocker dress and factory-optioned quarter louvers. And at the back of the car, clean Rally Sport taillights illuminate a second spoiler, a fourth "Z/28" emblem and a second guarded bumper.

SMOOTH SAILING

If you think the exterior of this classic is impressive, you're going to LOVE what's under its hood! Smooth, sorted and ready to roll, the car's high performance LT1 is widely regarded as one of the best small blocks ever produced. At the front of the handsome mill, a chromed serpentine drive spins a polished water pump between a chromed alternator and a chromed AC compressor. Opposite that pump, an "LT-1" branded air cleaner caps a proven Street & Performance throttle body. That valve feeds a dressed factory intake, which feeds aluminum heads and GM-spec internals. High-octane fossils come courtesy of modern fuel injection. A reliable Optima battery provides fire for loomed Taylor plug wires. Spent gases exit through coated long-tube headers. And cooling comes courtesy of a big aluminum radiator that's backed by Coolflex hoses and a large SPAL puller fan. Visually, not a detail was missed under this Camaro's insulated bonnet. Niceties like polished caps, chromed breathers, polished fluid reservoirs and chromed Chevrolet valve covers give the body-matched small block decidedly show worthy aesthetics. And the car's Gloss Black engine bay stands a massaged firewall behind a polished latch, polished brace bars, polished bolts, a chromed brake booster and polished Eddie Motorsports hood supports.

A+ ATHLETICS

Pose this panther on a lift and you'll find solid, Gloss Black floors that provide a stellar backdrop for a roster of proven components. At the center of those floors, a tough Tremec 5-speed twists power to a tough GM 10-bolt. That drivetrain rides a powder-coated chassis that's been upgraded with sturdy subframe connectors, thick Hotchkis sway bars and quality Hotchkis tie rod sleeves. Turns come courtesy of factory-style power steering. At the corners, power-assisted calipers clamp a quartet of drilled and slotted rotors. Charred dinosaurs float into coated, large-diameter pipes, which hang an H-shaped crossover in front of coated, dual-chamber mufflers. And torque transitions to pavement through chromed American Racing Torq Thrust IIs, which wear 235/45R17 Cooper Zeons in front of 255/45R18 Cooper Zeons.

TIMELESS STYLE

Swing the doors and you'll find a Deluxe Black Houndstooth interior that's, well, to put it bluntly, much cooler than anything found in modern cars. That handsome cockpit is centered on fresh bucket seats that tilt factory headrests over a nice combination of vinyl and cloth. At the front of those thrones, a tasteful factory dash hangs reliable factory telemetry next to modern air conditioning and modern, direct-fit audio. Deluxe door panels cage fade-free carpet around a factory console that's finished with 4-pack accessory gauges and a traditional Hurst shifter. And the driver turns an attractive Chevrolet Rally Wheel above silver-trimmed foot pedals.

Well-built, fully detailed and attention grabbing in every way, this Camaro finds the perfect midpoint between show and go. And, created in adherence to the basic tenants of resto-modding, you can rest assured that its appeal won't fade with time. Ready to bring home one of the coolest Chevys in our showroom?
