Mustang Mach 1 Heritage design is one of 1,059 produced in this
color scheme. Power comes from a 32-valve twin-cam aluminum V8
engine producing 310hp backed by a 5-speed manual transmission with
a 3:55:1 rear axle and limited-slip differential. Equipped with a
forged steel crankshaft, high-flow heads, 10.1:1 compression ratio,
rack & pinion steering, 4-wheel Brembo vented ABS disc brakes and a
cold air "shaker" hood scoop. It was factory lowered a half-inch
with firmer suspension, sub-frame connectors and Tatico shocks and
struts. The interior features Graphite leather "Comfort Weave"
power seats, metal trimmed pedals, aluminum shift ball, Mach 1
specific gauges with black background and white lettering, a
premium stereo sound system, Cobra floor mats and air conditioning.
Additionally, it features custom headlamps and grille, a front air
dam, rear spoiler and side scoops. All riding on custom 20-inch
black Shelby alloy wheels with high-performance radial tires.
