For Sale: 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle in Concord, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

The 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle is one of the meanest looking years for this muscle car legend, and so you can't go wrong with a distinct factory-correct color combo, big block power, and an upgraded suspension backing it all up.

The factory-correct Frost Green is great to have. Not only is it a cool '60s-style color, but you don't see it too often anymore. That's because it was exclusive to 1969. It was resprayed later in life to make sure it has a nice gloss and shine. It's a driver's car, but it's thoughtfully presented. You see it in the excellent chrome bumper, half-chrome headlights, and large 17-inch Torq Thrust wheels upgraded Super Sport stripe painted on instead of decals.

The green interior is the ideal setup where you have a dark appearance for a great muscle car, and at the same time, the color coordinates with the distinct exterior. Best of all, the trim tag tells us it's factory-correct. It has good details including the button-top seatbacks and the Delco AM radio there for display. This looks like it was a factory A/C car, but you'll need new components to restore the function. And you may need to restore details like the clock, dome light, or other details if you're looking for perfection. But what we like here is how this is a solid driver's car from day one. That means bucket seats, a center console, a horseshoe shifter, and sports steering wheel, auxiliary readouts, and even a large tach.

Under the hood is what you're going to love most about this Chevelle. The era-correct 396 cubic-inch V8 looks great with the bold block as well as the shining air topper and valve covers. They truly look like they're radiating power from within the engine bay. And backing up this high-power appearance are great performance components like the Holley four-barrel carburetor with electric choke, Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake, and long tube headers that feed the rumbling dual exhaust. And while this one makes a beastly sound even at idle, the whole package is quite easy to tame. The undercarriage photos show investments like a newer front sway bar with bushings, a rear sway bar, and QA1 upper rear control arms. This also features power steering, front disc brakes, a three-speed automatic transmission, and modern sport tires afforded by the wheel upgrade.

This is the distinct Chevelle with all the right features and thunderous power. It's a true muscle car distinction that deserves to go home with you. Call now!
