Miglia Red, code 76. Only 3,355 were produced in this gorgeous
color. The paint is polished like glass. The rubber bumpers have no
cracks in them. All the gaps are nice, the weather stripping and
door seals are nice and the glass is excellent. The stainless
around the windshield is polished. The black convertible top is in
excellent shape. It still retains its original VIN sticker on the
door. The 15x8 Rally wheels and trim rings look excellent. The BFG
T/A radial tires look like new. This car presents itself really
well. The black interior is very nice, unabused shape throughout.
The seats are in excellent condition. The door panels are mint. The
black carpet looks great from front to back. Looking at the dash
area, it is really nice. There are no cracks, the gauges are clean,
the lenses are clear and everything works. The steering wheel is in
excellent shape. The center console is detailed up very nicely. It
retains its original shifter with reverse lock-out and factory
AM/FM radio that works. The interior lights work. The seatbelts,
heater controls, vents and visors are all very nice as well. The
engine is a number matching, excellent running 350 L48. The casting
numbers are correct. The VIN is stamped on the pad. The motor is
all stock including the manifolds, valve covers, air cleaner and
original ignition shields. It has the proper fuel filter, Harrison
radiator, correct clutch fan and shroud. The hoses have been
replaced. The undercarriage is in original condition. Looking up at
the motor, it is clean. It has the close ratio 4-speed
transmission. The fiberglass floors are very clean. The frame is
exceptionally clean. The spare tire carrier is in place. It has a
newer exhaust system with catalytic converter and newer factory
style mufflers. The E-brake assembly is complete and working. This
is a great example of a well preserved original Corvette. This is
an honest Corvette with investment potential. Number matching,
4-speed Corvettes like this only go up in value. Factory red
Corvette Roadsters with a 4-speed and #'s matching drivetrain are
very desirable!
