This custom 1968 Dodge Charger has undergone a frame-off
restoration and has been customized with modern technology. This
car is powered by a fuel-injected 472ci 8-cylinder HEMI crate
engine from Mopar Performance and contains nitrous and Victor Pro
components. The 727 automatic transmission features an SKII 4-speed
2500 stall converter and overdrive connected to a Dana 60
posi-traction rear end, custom color powder-coated to match the
custom frame. Along with other customizations, this car features a
hand-designed and engineered 25-gallon fuel tank, NASCAR-style
ceramic brakes and polished brake calipers. It sits on Asanti
Spiked Series custom wheels and Heidts Superride II front
suspension. It features a custom-built sound system with Thunder
speakers and contains three Thunder amplifiers. The car's interior
was entirely hand-designed with genuine leather supported by
fiberglass, metal and laser-cut foam and features new ultra-fiber,
high-wear black carpet with core-dense underlay and sound-reduction
padding. It is also equipped with a visual performance display
incorporated into the digital stereo's LCD monitor, which provides
a live visual gauge readout of the compass, speed and RPM.
Additional features include door poppers, specialty power windows,
a dual wiper drive kit with two speeds, a new battery, new bushings
and a recent detail underneath the car. Includes several binders of
documentation from the restoration.
