Finished in custom Orange Metallic, this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 RS Pro-Touring Resto-Mod nicknamed "Typhoon," underwent a comprehensive restoration combining the legendary design of the '69 Z/28 with all of the modern-day luxury and performance muscle car options. Power comes from a pro-built modern L6 Z06 550hp Corvette "Fuelie" engine backed by 6-speed manual transmission with performance options. Equipped with a Typhoon aluminum high rise intake, chrome injector covers, ceramic headers, a Griffin aluminum radiator with an electric fan and a custom aluminum clever between the radiator and engine. Additionally, it is equipped with power steering, an 8-inch double diaphragm brake booster, hydraulic clutch, power disc brakes, a fuel cell in the trunk with a billet fuel door and a Pro-Performance custom exhaust with a custom-built exhaust cover by Eddie Landers. It sits on a full custom Carl Pendergraft chassis with custom body fabrications throughout the car. The full custom interior features Ultraleather seats with a power-adjustable driver's seat, one-piece Ultraleather headliner, Dolphin electric gauges with a faux carbon-fiber dash surround, Ultraleather door panels, a billet steering wheel, custom door handles and a custom console. As well as a Covan carbon fiber dash, Vintage Air system, tinted windows, a custom sound system and a custom trunk. Additionally, it features NASCAR insulation that was applied to the floor and headliner when building for a smoother quieter driving experience.
