This '53 Chevrolet 3100 is accompanied by a detailed hand-written mileage log detailing its purchase from Southwest Chevrolet Co. in Fort Worth, Texas in January of 1959 until its ultimate arrival here at Triple F Automotive in 2016 for a comprehensive restoration. Less than 1,000 miles of fair-weather driving has been put on this beautiful 5-Window since the completion of the build. The original 216 CI 6-cylinder engine was replaced with its more powerful 235 CI brother and to make things interesting, this larger engine was fitted with an Offenhauser intake, two Stromberg carburetors and a dual exhaust system.
