This 1952 Ford F1 is a really cool old truck. This truck was a
labor of love for the previous owner who restored it over a 10 year
period and recently completed it. He did a lot of work to it to
make it a dependable and excellent driving truck. The truck has a
great look and stance and it drives wonderful!!! The only reason he
sold us the truck is because his wife got cancer and he did not
want this truck to sit all of the time while he was caring for her.
The body on this truck is excellent and it is all metal. It is a
very straight old truck and the metal appears to be all original.
It was painted in the original GM color of Sheridan Blue around 8
years ago and the paint still looks good with only minor wear and
tear. The wood in the bed was replaced at that time and the
underside is clean and solid.
The interior was also all redone. It has a new seat cover, new
headliner, new vinyl floor mat, new gauges, new sun visors, new
steering wheel, and a custom radio that works. The headlights,
taillights, and brake lights are working. The heat and wipers also
work. The horn is not working.
Mechanically this truck is top notch and runs and drives
excellent!! The engine is the 239 Flathead V8 that was rebuilt when
it was restored (according to last owner) but we did not received
any restoration receipts for the truck. It is pretty clear this is
the case based on how it runs and appearance. When rebuilt it had a
new water pump, new generator, new radiator, and new carb.
Everything under the hood looks new. The transmission is a 3 Speed
manual that shifts nice with a strong clutch. It too was rebuilt.
It has the Dana 44 Rear Axle. It has a new wiring harness
installed. This is all sitting on a nice set of Ford Steel Wheels
with hubcaps and newer tires. This would be a great truck to drive
on the weekends or take to local car shows.
This is an awesome ride for someone!!! We drive what we sell so
that we can give you a first hand and accurate report on how the
vehicle runs and drives. Our pictures are never touched up or
photoshopped. What you see is an accurate representation of the
vehicle. We take consistent pictures and show you everything so you
can get a true representation of the vehicle.
