For Sale: 1986 Nissan 300ZX in Kentwood, Michigan

The 300 ZX by Nissan was built from 1984 through 1996 in the US across two different generations or platforms. The first generation or Z31 was built from model years 1984 through 1989. The Chassis was based on the previous 280, Although the newer chassis had the same wheelbase, it handled and accelerated better. This little sweetheart is a all original unmolested example that has never seen a winter and has spent the majority of its life either in the South or tucked away in a garage. In fact, this car has only been driven around 1500 miles in the last ten years and that's because the sellers wife passed away at that time and it was technically her car. They bought the car from I believe is the original owner in 2008. This car has been very well serviced and largely at a Nissan dealer. I have driven the vehicle and the A/C is operational, the cruise works well, all windows, no lights on the dash. The radio comes on but has intermittent sound that comes out of the speakers. The only other thing that I noticed is that the RPM gauge bounces around a little. I would imagine that the tires are older but still ride very smoothly. The interior is in very good shape considering the age and mileage. The car starts perfectly, drives nice and brakes feel fine. There are no leaks or smoking upon start up. The biggest flaw I would say is the faded paint in spots. I did have a detailer come out and take a look and he thinks someone that was real good with a buffing wheel and ceramic coat, this would come right back. There is zero rust to speak of except for some expected little surface rust on the under body. This Z appears to have never been wet, the tool kit is in good shape as are the T-tops and bags. This thing comes with original owners manuals and full set of service records along with a clean carfax. This is a great little car
