We are selling this 1970 Lincoln Continental that had been donated to Trails to Treatments. Trails to Treatments is a grant program administered by the North Country Horsemen Saddle Club, a non-profit organization based out of Middle River. Trail to Treatments seeks to support those undergoing cancer treatment in the counties of: Marshall. Pennington, Roseau, Kittson, Polk and Red Lake counties. These cancer patients are eligible to apply for a $700 grant to help with their expenses once per year to help cover unmet needs.
This Lincoln has the original 460 v8 engine and automatic transmission. It should run, but the previous owner had troubles keeping it running. Needs a new hood. Body is in decent shape. Interior in okay condition. Tires are okay. It was a daily driver before until it was having trouble staying running. Clean title. Asking $2500. Located in Thief River Falls, MN.

Payments: Payments can be made at any time. We accept cash, personal checks, PayPal and credit cards. A 4% fee will apply to all PayPal and credit card transactions. Vehicle will not be released until full payment has been made.
Deposits: A $500 deposit will hold a vehicle. Remaining balance must be paid within 30 days after deposit is made. If balance is not paid within 30 days, deposit will be lost and we will resell the vehicle.
Titles: We can apply for and receive a title on most of our vehicles (vehicles without titles) for an additional $250. This fee covers the application, (sometimes) bonding and my time and effort. Vehicles that are eligible to be titled must have all exterior major body panels. Meaning the vehicle can’t be missing fenders, hood, doors etc.. The vehicle must also display a clear and easy to read VIN tag. Titles take about a month to come back from the state clean and 100% transferrable.
Vehicle Storage: Vehicles are allowed to be stored here for 3 months after final payment is made unless prior arrangements are made. After 3 months they will be considered abandoned and will be the property of Backyard Classics. Therefore, all money paid will be lost due to storage.
Transport: Backyard Classics does not transport vehicles for customers. We will assist in locating transport for the customer. We use Montway Auto Transport for quotes. Do your homework (if possible) and shop for rates.
