Body off frame, rotisserie restored. We have photos of the
restoration process. Very desirable genuine Bel Air hardtop. It's a
beautiful car and also an amazing driver. Optioned out with air
conditioning and all the comforts you need to put some miles on
EXTERIOR: Absolutely straight, no rust or damage. Smooth even all
along the bottoms. Gaps are precise, square and flush. The doors,
hood, trunk shut like new. Beautiful bright white and bright red
paint. It is polished like glass. You would have to look real hard
to even find a flaw. All of the exterior chrome and stainless trim
was replaced or restored. It has optional rocker moldings, fuel
door trim, dual mirrors. The "flippers" over the door windows work.
It has optional reverse lights. All the glass was replaced. The
latches were replaced on the hood, doors and trunk. The
weatherstrips and window seals were replaced. 15 inch polished
Torque Thrust wheels on Cooper radial tires.
INTERIOR: Completely restored. The seats were rebuilt and are firm.
The upholstery was custom made similar to the original pattern.
Door panels are made to match. The interior metal is painted smooth
and glossy. All the knobs, handles, lenses and trim was replaced.
It has the correct tight loop carpet and Bel Air floor mats. The
headliner was replaced and has the Bel Air chrome ribs. Visors were
replaced, has optional day/night mirror. Original style steering
wheel but has a smaller diameter. It's on a tilt column. The heat
and a/c controls were neatly added. New wiring harness, interior
lights work. It has a mini console with cupholders, 12 volt
receptacle and stereo. Kick panel speakers and a custom rear deck
has 6x9 speakers. Red seat belts were added in front.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It's a 350 Vortec with Holley Sniper fuel
injection. It has aluminum intake and an HEI ignition system. Fully
decked out in polished parts. Matched set of valve covers,
breathers, brackets and air cleaner. Neatly installed air
conditioning system with a polished compressor. Power steering with
CPP steering box. CPP power brake system too. Polished aluminum
radiator and overflow bottle with electric fan keeps it cool.
Upgraded electric wiper system. New wiring, horns, 1 wire polished
alternator, cruise control. Premium fittings, fuel lines, linkages
etc. The engine bay is smooth metal painted glossy. New hinges,
stainless hardware was used.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The entire trunk compartment is clean metal. It
is painted gloss white including under the lid and jamb.
Reproduction rubber mat, seat divider, wiring and weatherstrip.
Painted rim and a new radial tire for a spare. The jack assembly is
restored. The battery was relocated to the trunk.
UNDERSIDE: It has been body off the frame restored. The chassis wad
prepped and painted gloss black. The front end has been completely
rebuilt including ball joints, bushings, springs, shocks, steering
components. In back the shocks and bushings have been replaced. All
the body bushings were replaced. Fuel tank, straps, fuel lines,
sending unit were replaced. It has a nice dual exhaust system is
with accelerator mufflers. The brake system has been rebuilt. It
has disc in front, e-brake assembly is hooked up. Bottom of the
motor is clean, it has a high torque starter. Upgraded with a
700R-4 overdrive automatic transmission. The driveshaft is rebuilt.
3.55 gears in the rear end. The body was flipped on a rotisserie so
the bottom could be restored like new. All clean metal floors,
braces, rockers etc. We have photos of the process.
This one got better the closer I looked. Excellent fit and finishes
through out. The functionality seems to be just as impressive.
Timeless build, it wont go out of style anytime soon. It has the
features you want. It's a driver, it's been enjoyed 13,500 miles
and the car still looks amazing. Truly a show and go car!
