This 1969 Chevrolet CST 10 Fleetside Pickup Truck is a nice stock
example and is ready for some serious cruising! Introduced in the
fall of 1968, the 1969 Chevrolet light-duty truck line received a
notable front-end facelift. A new-look grille featured an aluminum
centerpiece embossed with "Chevrolet" and rectangular parking
lights were now integrated into the front end next to the headlight
housing. A new large "Bowtie" emblem was also now featured
prominently on the hood. The top trim level for the 1/2 Ton Pickup
trucks was the Custom Sport Truck option, otherwise known as the
CST. On top of the standard options included in the CS trucks, such
as rubber floor mats and vinyl trimmed door panels, the
top-of-the-line CST trucks also came with full-width bench seats
and special carpets along with unique CST trim around the exterior
of the trucks, among other things. While Chevrolet produced nearly
500,000 Half-Ton pickup trucks in 1969, only 29,942 were produced
with the CST option package. Under the hood on this CST Pickup is a
307 Cubic Inch V8 engine paired with a single 2 barrel carburetor
that pushed out 200 horsepower in its day. A 3 speed manual
transmission backs the 307 V8 and is shifted using a
"three-on-the-tree" column-mounted shifter. With power steering,
maneuvering this long box Fleetside pickup in and out of tight
spaces is made much easier. Riding on P225/75R15 Whitewall Radial
Tires on painted steel wheels with Chrome Wheel Covers, this Chevy
pickup has a great look and even better ride. The brightwork and
woodgrain trim around the exterior of this truck is in nice shape.
The steel box and bed are in wonderful condition as well and a
diamond plate tool box is incorporated into the box of the truck.
The exterior of this truck has been beautifully refinished in a
Yellow Green paint with the white painted roof providing a nice
accent. The special Custom Sport Truck interior is fantastic! The
full-width bench seat has been reupholstered in a beautiful Saddle
vinyl that has a truly deluxe look. The saddle carpeting, door
panels and dash are in wonderful shape as well and appear to be in
their stock configuration. The dash is equipped with a 100 MPH
speedometer, battery gauge, temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge,
and fuel gauge. The original radio has also been upgraded to a
retro-style AM/FM system so that you can listen to all of your
tunes while cruising down the road. Whether you're looking to buy
