For Sale: 1986 Jeep CJ7 in Concord, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

This 1986 Jeep CJ7 has attractive colors, rugged equipment, and plenty of the right investments in both style and substance - including fuel injection. So you can see there has been a solid investment all around this 4x4 to make it one of the most distinct go-anywhere machines you can get your hands on right now.

This CJ attracts the right kind of attention. The red paint has a nice radiance that looks good wherever the sunshine finds this Jeep - everywhere from downtown to the lakeside. There are even touches of red on the tow hooks and lettering for the General Grabber tires. But really, the best ruggedness is saved for its dark side. You see it on the Fishbone steel front bumper, rock sliders, fender flares, 15-inch wheels, and rear bumper with full-size spare and tow hitch. And you even have the choice of a bikini top or a full black soft top. The full package looks good while never getting too fancy to resist off-roading. The result is a CJ that gives you plenty of flair while still reminding you it's a useful 4x4.

The interior really shows off the right mixture of ruggedness and comfort. The outdoor-ready nature is highlighted by the newer water-resistant seat covers and deeply channeled floor mats. There are also upgrades in comfort with a cup holders center console, half-doors, and an AM/FM/CD/USB stereo with Bluetooth that's believed to just need hooking up. It's even a more comfortable driver with an upgraded steering wheel, full gauges with tach, and an EFI touchscreen mounted to the dash.

The engine bay has been given a solid investment, too. You see it in the color-coordinated engine bay, tidy style, and valve cover that announces this is the classic 4.2L/258ci inline-six. It has been upgraded to a Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system for added power and consistency. Plus, there are quality additions, like an Optima red top battery and a newer aluminum radiator. You take proper control over the motor with the four-speed manual transmission. A two-speed transfer case, lifted suspension, and deep treads on the off-road tires make for a good 4x4. But this also has power steering, power brakes, front discs, and an all-around good feeling on the road.

This was the final year for the CJ, and this example has been given the right investments to take you further and look great doing it. Call today!!!
