1956 Chevy Bel air 4 door Sedan, red and white with Matador red and Dune beige interior.
This is the car for you if you want a great classic Chevy you can actually get in and drive anywhere and enjoy and still get an occasional $2 trophy if you want to sit all day at a local car show.
This car is in very good to excellent condition. No dents, cracked glass, bubbling paint or pitted chrome. It runs and stops much better than an original. The chrome is excellent and the paint is excellent driver quality, it is slick and shines well but does have a nick or flaw or 2. Don't expect a $25,000 trailer queen paint job on a $29,000 car. It gets driven a lot during the season and has actually gotten rained on just like it did back in 1956.
It has a rebuilt 1979 Chevy 350 4 bolt main motor and a rebuilt T350 automatic. It runs great and shifts are nice and firm. Cruises great around town or at highway speeds. It has front power disc brakes and new brake lines front and back. Manual steering with rebuilt steering gear. New gas tank, sender and fuel line. There is an edelbrock manifold and 4 barrel carb with electric choke. Generator converted to alternator and all new wiring professionally done, soldered connections with heat shrink.
New axle bearings by Ring and Pinion shop. New rally wheels and Uniroyal Laredo tires July 2022. Dual exhaust with turbo mufflers.
New interior from C.A.R.S. in the original cloth and vinyl material. including door panels, headliner and carpeting. All glass was replaced.
Very good am/fm/cd sound system and speakers.
Custom trunk treatment with several storage compartments.
It has a C.A.R.S. 4 core radiator, and electric cooling fan.
We bought the car last year to get back into a Tri5 chevy club that we have been in before but have decided to go in a different direction, probably something a little newer like 60's thru mid 70's. We have always found another one we want more than what we have and do change our classics frequently the last 20 years or so.
I don’t need help selling this car. I will not respond to online offers. I will remove the ad as soon as I have sold it and deposited the cash in my account or get tired of the hassle and dealing with tire kickers and no-shows, etc., so if the ad is still here neither has happened yet.
