This 1979 Ford F250 Ranger Pickup spent its life in Washington and
the last owner has owned for the last 10 years. This truck has been
well cared for and he told us the miles are original, but we do not
have documentation to prove it. Based on the original uncarriage
and general condition we are inclined to believe the miles are
original. The body is in excellent condition and very straight. It
was repainted once in its original color of Candy Apple Red and the
paint still looks great!! All of the original trim is still in
great shape and it recently had the bed professionally Rhino-Lined.
The underside is really clean as you can see from the pictures on
our website. We found no rust issues with this truck.
The interior is really nice with new carpet, new headliner, new
dash cover, and new seat upholstery. The rest is original and in
nice condition. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn
signals are working. The gauges, horn, wipers, and heat all work.
It has a nice Modern but Vintage Style Radio as well.
Mechanically this truck is excellent. It runs and drives really
nice. The engine is believed to be the original 400 V8 that runs
strong and smooth. It has a very clean engine compartment. It has a
new carb, recent tune-up, and new distributor. Other than the Crab
it is a very original and stock truck. The transmission is the C6
Automatic that shifts nice and it is mated to the np205 transfer
case. The 4WD works like it should. It has a Dana 60 Rear Axle with
3.54 gears and the front axle is a Dana 44 with 3.54 gears. This
truck has Power Steering and Power Front Disc Brakes.
