Vehicle Description
Ah, the Land Cruiser by Toyota might be one of the best Utility
vehicles ever made....These absolute beasts of a vehicle were built
for International market from 1960 through 1984 and although
production ended for the world market at that time, they were
actually produced for the Brazilian market all the way until 2001
under the name Bandeirante. The early FJ40's used a 3.9 Liter 6
cylinder and later would become the 4.2 2F engine. The FJ40 would
be made in 2-door sport utility models, longer wheelbase models,
trucks etc....They were and are still used in many third world
countries known for their reliability. Here in the US, the
collectability aspect of these SUV's have gone wild. This
particular killer little rig has just had a brand new clutch
installed along with throttle cable, spark plugs, fly wheel, rear
main seal, oil pan gasket, fluid flush and all around check up.
This vehicle has front disc brakes, aluminum radiator and a
throttle body injection unit installed in place of the old finicky
carburetor. Has a nice set of BFG's along with a re-spray that was
done some time ago. The interior is in nice usable condition with
seat belt front and rear. All the lights seem to work as well as
the front and rear heat. I have personally put some miles on this
rig and it goes down the road quite well and garnishes all the
attention. It starts easily and idles almost instantly with that
new set up. This FJ comes with a Toyota tool kit with jack, a
bikini top that's never been on and shop manual. Don't miss out on
this cool rig.
