This 1986 Jeep CJ7 is the final year for the series, and so it has
some nice details from the evolution that you'll appreciate. Plus,
there have been the right investments that add style and substance
to this 4x4 all at the same time.
We love the look of the full beige paint upgrade - including the
fender flares and side steps. It looks like this Jeep is ready for
a desert adventure or an African safari. And because this is rugged
liner paint, it really is the one that you will explore beyond the
path with ease. There's even a well-coordinated black that holds
some of the most useful pieces. It includes the tubular front
bumper with brush guard and winch. There's a nice set of 15-inch
black wheels, LED lights at the base of the windshield, and added
holders for a high-lift jack and a jerrycan. And the rear tubular
bumper includes a trailer hitch. The sale also comes with a set of
steel frame half-doors with storage pockets, a bikini top, and a
couple side windows which give you some added protection from the
elements while also adding to this desert runner kind of style.
The interior is thoughtful while still being rugged. In fact, the
exterior liner paint returns on the interior floor. And the Bestop
seats are done in tan vinyl to be robust, attractive, and harmonize
with the paint theme. There are some nice added comforts, like the
armrest on the lockbox center console, and the radio is an AM/FM
unit with Bluetooth and USB for your phone.
The 2.5-liter motor is a real Jeep/AMC motor. It was only available
on the later CJs, and it was before the fuel injection era. So it
makes for a desirable robust setup that's also easy to keep
well-tuned. It is why this one continues to be a strong runner, and
the four-speed manual transmission lets you dig deep into the
torque when you need it. So it makes for a good pairing with the
4x4 drivetrain and deep tread off-road tires. And when you just
feel like cruising through town, it's easy with the newer power
steering system and front disc brakes.
This is the sharp-looking final-year CJ that has the right
investments where you really want them. Call today!!!
