Vehicle Description
From 1983 through 2016 The Land Rover Defender 110, 90 and 127
(130) have been roaming the countryside of nearly every corner of
the earth. Its reputation of ruggedness and versatility are
superior to most vehicles. In fact, the original Defender is still
being produced in developing countries despite the arrival of the
Land Rover Defender, which has seen some criticism from die-hard
off roaders. Nonetheless, the Defender 90 County with the 2.5 Liter
Turbo Charged power plant might be the best little off-roader
available. This particular little sweetheart was imported from
England a year or so ago and has traveled just over 80,000 miles
from new. This thing is awesome....It starts perfectly after the
glow plugs cycle just for a couple seconds before the engine comes
alive. I love the simplicity of the cabin with crank up windows and
analog systems. Everything is very tight from the brakes to the
steering and shifting. This D90 goes down the road very nicely and
has plenty of power both on the pavement and off road. The body is
all original and shows some cosmetic things that of a 27 year old
vehicle that has been driven. The underside has some areas of
surface rust and one spot of corrosion, which is on the passenger
side jack point. (No Frame issues). These rigs are built like
little tanks but sophisticated enough to head to dinner. The
service log book appears to mostly up to date with the last dealer
in UK service done in at 67K miles. The seats, lights and radio are
all in working order and this thing is ready to be enjoyed.
