This 1970 Chevy K20 truck is a beautiful rig! It is a 3/4 ton 4WD
truck that spent its life in California and most recently in
Tennessee for the last year. This truck has had a lot of work done
to it to make it an excellent and dependable driver. The body clean
and very straight as it should be since this was a California truck
most of its life. It has been repainted in its original color of
Light Red one time and the paint still looks excellent (the color
looks orange which is how it is supposed to look). They also added
a Line-X Bedliner. All of the chrome and trim appears to be
original and it is great condition. The underside is extremely
clean and solid with no rust issues, but we did find a couple of
very small patches in the floor that were professionally repaired
(all metal). The underside has not been painted and as you can see
in our undercarriage pictures it is very clean.
The interior is very nice and pretty cool. It has a new custom seat
from LMC truck in a Saddle color that looks great! It also has a
new rubber mat and new dash cover. The headlights, tail lights,
brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The gauges all work
and the wipers and heat work. The horn is not working.
Mechanically this truck is top notch and it runs and drives
excellent down the road. It has had a lot of mechanical work done
in the last 5,000 miles and the Odometer was reset when the work
was done. We did not receive the receipts, but is clear when you
look at the parts what is new. The engine is a Ram Jet 350 V8 Crate
Engine that came complete from GM Performance. It has 345 HP and
396 Foot Pounds of Torque. It is Fuel Injected and starts easy and
runs smooth and strong. It has an all new GM Serpentine belt System
and everything on the engine was new including AC Compressor (but
it is not an AC truck), fuel pump, starter, alternator, power
steering pump, etc. It also has a new radiator and headers with
dual exhaust. The transmission is the Turbo 350 Automatic that
shifts nice and was rebuilt when the engine was installed. It is
mated to the np 205 transfer case which was taken apart and
resealed. The 4WD works like it should. It has an Eaton Rear Axle
with 4.10 gears and a Dana 44 front axle with 4.10 gears. The
braking system was completely replaced and it has power front disc
brakes and power steering.
