For Sale: 1973 Volkswagen Beetle in Savannah, Georgia

We are very pleased to offer this incredible survivor 1973 VW Beetle Sedan Sold New in Watertown Conn. (It still has the original dealer decal on the left rear fender) in 1973 This car was found by a VW enthusiast who painstakingly recommissioned this Beetle for the road The major work included pulling the motor and performing an engine reseal and refreshing with a focus on retraining as many original parts as possible all of this was performed by the Prior owner. In 2019 this Beetle was purchased by a local Savannah collector who made a few modifications to fit his personal taste and upgraded some mechanical items to improve the driving experience. These included the following: New Bilstein shock absorbers, Pirelli Tires, H4 Headlights, Period Cibie driving lights. Mechanically the car is fabulous It runs, shifts and drives just as a 1973 Beetle in excellent nick should. Cosmetically the car still has its original paint in amazing condition the interior was refinished in a cloth plaid for the seats and side panels. Electrically all the warning lights, seat belt reminders all still function as new. The car is true time capsule. This is a small selection of the photos taken of this car.
