Vehicle Description
This 1977 Chevrolet K5 Blazer is powered by a supercharged
6.2-liter LSA V8 paired with a 4L80E four-speed automatic
transmission, both of which were installed during a mechanical and
interior refurbishment that was performed after the seller acquired
the vehicle in 2016. Finished in silver over gray leather
upholstery, the truck also features a rebuilt NP205 transfer case,
one-ton axles, 20? wheels, 8? leaf springs, Bilstein shocks, a
front sway bar, disc brakes, power steering, a MagnaFlow exhaust
system, power-adjustable front bucket seats, power windows, air
conditioning, shift paddles, Dakota Digital gauges, a removable
color-matched hardtop, and tinted windows. The truck is finished in
silver with a body-color removable hardtop and features chrome
bumpers with integrated fog lights, a chrome grille and side
mirrors, a roll bar, and tinted windows. The seller notes a chip on
the driver-side fender well and a scratch on the rear passenger
side of the hardtop. Black 20? American Force wheels with machined
accents are mounted with 3512.5? Nitto Ridge Grappler tires. The
truck is equipped with Warn manually locking front hubs, and
modifications are said to include the installation of a front sway
bar, disc brakes, a Wilwood brake master cylinder, an Offroad
Designs hydraulic power-assisted steering system, a crossover
steering kit, Offroad Designs 8? leaf springs, and Bilstein 5125
shocks. Replacement gray leather seats are said to have been
sourced from a 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe, and the front buckets are
power adjustable. The cabin also features gray door panels,
dashboard, and carpeting. Additional modifications include power
windows and an aftermarket audio system. The air conditioning has
been converted to use R134a refrigerant. The chrome three-spoke
steering wheel features shift paddles and frames replacement Dakota
Digital gauges including a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and
gauges for fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant
temperature. The digital odometer shows 3,700 miles, which reflects
the distance accumulated under current ownership. Actual chassis
mileage is unknown. The supercharged 6.2-liter LSA V8 crate engine
was installed by RPM Automotive Services in Rohnert Park,
California along with a transmission fan and a fuel-pump assist
system. The letter R in the vehicle's chassis number indicates that
it left the factory with a 400ci V8 under the hood. Power is
delivered to the rear or all four wheels through a 4L80E four-speed
automatic transmission and a rebuilt NP205 dual-range transfer
case. A rebuilt one-ton Dana 60 front axle and a one-ton GM 14-bolt
rear axle are said to feature 4.10:1 gearing. A MagnaFlow exhaust
system also has been installed. Corrosion is noted on some
underbody components. This Custom Built K5 Is ready for the street
