Vehicle Description
This 1964 Corvette Pro-Touring Restomod, completed in May 2022 by
J&M Enterprizes Inc. in Brooksville, Florida, is powered by a
new GM LS3 6.2-liter V8 Hot Cam crate engine producing 495hp mated
to a 4L70E 4-speed automatic transmission. The Pro-Touring
treatment begins with a Roadster Shop Spec 7 chassis that has C7
Corvette independent rear suspension, adjustable coilovers at each
corner, C7 independent front suspension with aluminum control arms
and spindles and a power rack & pinion steering system. Stopping
power is provided by Wilwood 15-inch 6-piston front brakes and
14-inch 4-piston rear brakes along with an electric parking brake.
The custom, all leather Torch Red interior is by Al Knoch with
upgrades including a polished Flaming River tilt steering column
topped with a Billet Specialties steering wheel, Vintage Air, power
windows, Dakota Digital gauges and custom billet glove box and
gauge cluster. The Arctic White exterior with Torch Red stripes
features flared quarter panels, tucked bumpers, Detroit Speed fast
headlight kit, power hood, upgraded wiper system, smoke-tinted
glass, and side-exit exhaust. This Pro-Tourer rides on staggered
Budnik wheels, 19x10 in the front and 20x12 in the rear, wrapped in
Michelin Super Sport tires, 285/30 up front and meaty 335/30 out
back.
