Intermeccanica Porsche Speedster on a 1968 VW Beetle pan. Driven
only 18,xxx Miles since it was built this speedster is a blast to
drive. It originally came out of Monterey, CA. The previous owner
stopped driving it almost 10 years ago and had recently passed
away. His son was selling the house and had this sitting inside the
garage. When we picked it up all we had to do was service it and
give it a good cleaning! This is one of the original Intermeccanica
built in May of 1979 body number 9B0396. No expenses were spared
and everything was very well done. The exterior is finished in red
paired with a beautiful tan interior. The interior of this vehicle
is virtually flawless and in great condition. The exterior is in
excellent condition and shown clearly in the video. Paint is deep
and glossy. Fender flares were beautifully done. It has what we
believe to be a 1915cc engine with dual Weber carbs, high lift cams
and chrome push rods. 4- speed manual transmission with a short
gear radio. Mechanically it runs and drives excellent. The motor is
healthy, sounds great and has plenty of power. Excellent
compression in all four cylinders (120 psi all around). We flushed
the gas tank, put in all new fuel lines, spark plugs, cleaned the
carbs, replaced the axle boots, valve cover gaskets and adjusted
the brakes, clutch and timing. The transmission shifts smoothly
through all gears. It has front disk brakes! The soft top is like
new. Tonneau Cover is also available in excellent condition. Clean
