Vehicle Description
The Shelby name will always ignite your enthusiast's heart. But
when you can find a 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT with a five-speed
stick, devilishly dark style, and rumbling V8 power - all without
breaking the bank - then you know it's worth checking out all the
details.
The Shelby GTs were part of a two-year limited production that took
our love for the GT-H Hertz cars and put them directly into our
hands without hitting the rental fleet. The Shelby GT package added
a deeper front air dam, a special billet grille with an offset
Mustang emblem, hood pins, and a hood scoop. Out back, you get big
SHELBY block letters as well as a diffuser panel under the bumper
and twin exhaust tips that shine brightly. And because this
generation of pony car is pure retro-cool, the best Shelby GTs
received classic-inspired updates like racing stripes and side
cooling ducts. Plus, the 10-spoke alloys have a similar design to
what you got on icons like the GT500, but these have a mirror-like
shine. It makes for a car that looks distinctive and powerful in an
overall driver-ready package.
The low odometer reflects the full actual mileage, and since this
has seen less use than its contemporaries, the leather interior has
a clean and attractive style. It makes for a great way to showcase
the fully loaded package. This includes air conditioning, cruise
control, power windows, power locks, keyless entry, dual front
airbags, and side airbags. Plus, this has the optional touchscreen
infotainment interface for the AM/FM/CD changer stereo. But more
than just a coddler, this is a pure driving machine. The driver's
leather bucket seat power adjusts to get you in your perfect
position, and the leather-wrapped three-spoke sports steering wheel
gives you a clear view of the full gauge package. Plus, as a
Shelby, you get a signed and a numbered plaque on the dash, as well
as a Hurst cue ball for the short shifter on the five-speed manual
transmission.
Ford's 4.6-liter V8 was given some nice upgrades for duty in the
Shelby GT. This came with a cold air induction system and the Ford
Racing Power Upgrade Package, which ups output to 319 horsepower
and 330 pounds of torque. There's also a strut tower brace that
really makes a statement in the tidy engine bay and provides yet
another reminder that this is a pony of a different breed.
Underneath there's an X-pipe exhaust system that gives the Shelby a
distinctive sound. While you're looking at the undercarriage,
marvel at how little this has been driven so that even the factory
decals are on many components. As a true Shelby, it also receives a
handling package with tuned shocks & struts, lowering springs, and
larger sway bars. Add in power steering, four-wheel disc brakes,
ABS, and grippy sport tires, and you have a total package worthy to
carry 'ol Shell's name.
Complete with owner's manual, this is the ideal way to get a
genuine snake-bitten pony car that gives you style and power
without breaking the bank. Call now!
