The Town Car name has been around a long time and has been
synonomys with luxury dating back to the early days of motoring.
Town Car was the name used meaning Limousine style either carriage
or automobile, something that was driven by a chauffer delivering
its wealthy employers to places "Around Town". Lincoln, the
division of Ford has used the name Town Car since the 1950s as a
secondary model but became its own model in 1981 and would hold on
until 2011. This remarkable time capsule has traveled just over
50,000 miles in nearly 33 years. This is 100% all original with the
exception of the tires, brakes and other assorted service items you
would expect. The paint and interior are in better than average
condition and everything works down to the A/C. This is a turn-key,
enjoy it now car with no known issues. Does not leak or smoke upon
start up, has no funky rattles, clunks or smells and seems to be as
smooth going down the road as it was new. It comes with its
original keys and owners manual. The radio has been replaced but
the original is included as is the original spare and jack. This
really is a wonderful car to cruiser and with the reliable 302
cubic inch V8 and low mileage you can be assured many more years
and miles with smiles. Car has a clean carfax and a recent service.
