Vehicle Description
1969 Chevrolet SS 396 Daytona Yellow Convertible
Why This Car Is Special
The Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 are staples of the Chevy muscle car
stable. These big bodied beauties are highly desirable and pack a
mean punch when equipped with the venerable 396 big block Chevy
engine.
But, throw in the factory Daytona Yellow #76 paint code, what we
believe is a correct JA code 396 engine and drivetrain, and them
make it a black bucket seat interior with the black convertible top
on the 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 like the one we have here at
Skyway Classics, and it hits it out of the ballpark!
What could be the hallmark of any great collection is this 1969
Chevelle SS396 4-speed convertible that has been so carefully and
correctly restored that it belongs not just in, but at the very
apex of, that category.

Exterior
GM's styling departments were at a peak in the late sixties, and
the Chevelle was a very attractive model, but none more so than a
well-equipped convertible. Ours is particularly attractive painted
in Daytona Yellow, Black bucket seat interior, SS equipment, with
the crowning touch the bulging hood hiding the 325-horse 396.
What a terrific combination on a superb body with all the lines
flowing straight and accented by the side stripe and riding on the

The chrome is in excellent condition and the stance is just right.
