Solid all steel 1940 Ford 1/2 ton pickup. The engine is a 400 ci small block chevy (mid 70's Chevy Caprice) with aluminum heads from Sumit Racing. Holley Demon 650 carb and Weiand high rise manifold. Exhaust has Sanderson shorty headers. Transmission is a 700R4 with a 3.08 Chevy 10 bolt posi rear. AC and Heat. Front suspension is a Mustang II power steering with tubular upper and lower control arms. Front disc brakes and drums on the rear. The frame is original and partially boxed. Battery and power brake booster are mounted on the frame The box has Mahagony wood with stainless dividers; Gas tank has a 15 gallon capacity. The interior is tan leather with a custom fit 40 Ford sedan dash. The radio and wire fuse panel are mounted under the seat. The current mileage shows 3520 miles but not sure how accurate those miles are. With the overdrive transmission and 3.08 rear gears, this vehicle travels easily at 70mph on the interstate.
