The truck is powered by a early 1970 460 V8 with a mild cam paired
with a C6 automatic transmission with kickdown. Highlights include
20 inch Detroit steel wheels, ford 9 inch rear end with 3:00 gears,
Weiand intake manifold, new distributor, Edelbrock carburetor,
electronic ignition, electric choke, aluminum radiator,
transmission cooler, custom exhaust, Flowmaster muffler, JW Rod
Garage Mustang II front suspension with tubular arms, dropped
spindles, power steering, new weather stripping on cab, dynamatting
on cab.
The Ford F-Series is a series of trucks marketed and manufactured
by Ford. In production since 1948, the F-Series is a range of light
trucks marketed as full-size pickup trucks, slotted above the
compact Ford Ranger in the Ford truck model range. Introduced in
1957, the third generation F-series was a significant modernization
and redesign. Front fenders became integrated into the body, and
the new Styleside bed continued the smooth lines to the rear of the
pickup.
