Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this Stunning 1981 Z28 which is in beautiful original condition with low actual miles of 30,058. The very low actual miles are documented on the included clean carfax and the current Ohio title stating the miles as Actual. This Z28 is stock original and is in fantastic overall condition. This Z28 features amazing factory silver paint, a mint original black vinyl interior, and the original numbers matching 305 engine and original 4 speed manual transmission. This Z28 is very solid with great lines and gaps and has no visible rust on body or underside. This Z28 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Silver over Black vinyl interior. This is the factory color scheme as verified on the trim tag pictured above. Also included with this Z28 is the current car fax showing miles as actual and no accidents.
Exterior
The Silver exterior is in amazing stock condition. This Z28 has wonderful silver factory paint and factory decals and the paint is in fantastic overall condition. The paint has a deep shine and smooth finish with no signs of visible rust and both bumpers are in great shape shape with no flaking or faded paint. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but noting was intentionally excluded from the photos. Tires have good tread left and are sized 235/60/15 and the rally wheels are OEM originals and are in excellent shape with no curb rash. Trunk is very solid and clean with the original space saver spare tire, jack, and original style trunk mat. All the glass is "LOF" factory original and in wonderful shape and like new.
Interior
The black vinyl interior of this Z28 is in like new original condition. The original seat covers are in mint condition with no signs of wear and are very soft and comfortable. The carpet is original with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in perfect condition with no cracks or fading and the dash bezel is in perfect condition as well. The original stereo is in working condition and dash speaker and rear speakers are working and sound great. Rear speakers still have their original insulation boxes. Thankfully the dash has not been cut for a modern stereo. The door panels are original and in excellent condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The package tray is in like new condition as well and features original speaker grills. The headliner is in perfect condition and like new. All interior lights and gauges work as they should even the clock works. The cigarette lighter is in working order. The stereo, blower motor, and wipers also work. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.
Mechanical
This Z28 is in great mechanical condition with only 30,058 actual miles on the original 305 engine and original 4 speed manual transmission. In the video one can observe this car running with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs very well. This Z28 is an exceptional driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs great. New shocks were added and a new alternator was added too. The brakes were serviced with new calipers and pads and do not pull and stop as they should. This Z28 has four wheel disk brakes and I don't have the story on how that came to be. Either a complete rear axle was swapped from a Trans AM or somehow it occurred at the factory. This Z has positraction. The exhaust has dual performance mufflers and the cat was removed and a strait pipe was installed. This car is a blast to drive with the 4 speed transmission and drives down the road wonderfully. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. This is a factory non AC car which really unclutters the engine bay and adds performance. Lots of originality remains in the engine bay like original hoses and clamps, original emissions and charcoal canister, decals, vacuum lines, etc.
