This completely custom chopped top 1951 Mercury is powered by a '76
Lincoln V8 engine that has been bored out to 510ci backed by an
automatic transmission. The exterior features handmade headlight
rings, a signature floating DeSoto grille, dual antennas, custom
Buick side trim, a custom handmade cover that hides the gas cap and
a 6-inch chop on the roof as well as the stock '51 rear glass is
flipped 180 degrees, and real Appleton spotlights. The ultra-suede
and leather interior is also completely custom to match the
exterior and features custom ordered gauges to match the piping,
German square weave carpeting and the trunk houses the compressor
for the Corvette air shocks. This custom rides on Merc Man hub caps
that don't turn.
