The first-generation of Dodge 'Ram' trucks were introduced in 1981
and produced through the 1993 model year. Dodge designated
two-wheel drive models as 'D' series trucks and used '150' to
identify half-ton models. These new Ram models introduced
rectangular headlamps, squared-off bodylines and a variety of new
paint schemes. This 2-WD D150 is a standard cab 'Sweptline' with
full size bed. The body was professionally refinished in 2018 and
is in good condition. The inside of the bed does show normal wear,
but no serious dents/damage. All chrome is in very good condition
(including the 'Ram' hood ornament) and beautiful Riddler 20" spoke
alloy wheels mount Nitto Motivo performance radial tires. The
original interior is in overall very good condition - seat
upholstery, dashboard, headliner, carpeting and door panels have
been well maintained. The faux wood dash contains a full factory
gauge package and convenience options include cold A/C, tinted
power windows, AM/FM/Cassette sound system, power locks and cruise
control. Horsepower is furnished by a Chrysler 318ci 'LA Series'
V8. These engines are virtually indestructible and the owner states
that this one has never required a rebuild. Factory equipped with
Mopar's dual-injector throttle body EFI, output is rated at 170bhp
with 245lb/ft of torque. A rebuilt 3-speed automatic transmission
is mated to the factory RWD differential. The solid chassis is
fitted with power steering and power assisted front disc/rear drum
brakes. Stock suspension is front coil/rear leaf springs. This
Dodge Ram is ready for the new owner who will appreciate the
classic look and durability of this Dodge Ram. ALL VEHICLES SOLD
