The mid-engined Pontiac Fiero was produced from 1984 through 1988,
making this sporty '88 Fiero GT the last model of this unique
Pontiac sports car, and the most desirable. The GT body utilized a
fastback design with a new aero package that included sleek
front/rear fascia components and side skirts. The owner states that
the exterior finish of this pampered GT is the factory Medium Red
Metallic and it is in very, very good condition. Accents include
the aforementioned body enhancements, a rear spoiler and Fiero
15x7" 'Black Diamond Spoke' alloy wheels. The original gray cloth
interior is also in very good condition. Convenience features
include cold A/C, Delco ETR AM/FM/Cassette sound system, sunroof,
tilt wheel, cruise, full gauge package, leather wheel and power
tinted windows. The naturally aspired 2.8L Pontiac V6 w/multiport
fuel injection is in stock configuration and said to have never
required a rebuild. Pontiac engineered numerous upgrades into the
'Tech IV' motor for '88 including an internal gear-driven balancing
system w/secondary force balancing and a new serpentine belt
design. Output was rated at 135bhp with 165lb/ft of torque and
delivered to a 3-speed automatic rear transaxle. Exhaust is routed
through a factory stainless system. A newly enhanced for '88
chassis incorporates manual steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes,
coil spring front suspension, front/rear sway bar and a redesigned
independent tri-link rear suspension w/Macpherson struts. This
Pontiac may well be one of the nicest original Fiero GT models on
the street today - it belongs in your Poncho garage. ALL VEHICLES
SOLD "AS IS".
