Welcome to Street Dreams in Texas as we celebrate our 23rd year in
the classic and muscle car business. We sometime carry some cool
classic bikes like the Honda Trail bike this one was traded in on.
This 2008 Kawasaki KLR650 is the first year of the second
generation of KLR650s. This new generation of KLR650s had several
upgrades including 41mm forks, new D-section swingarm, dual beam
headlight, dual-piston front and rear calipers, upgraded cooling
system, redesigned cowling and fairing as well as other redesigned
parts. This motorcycle is considered a dual-sport as it is made for
on or off-road. With over 7 inches of travel in front and rear
springs it's probably pretty fun to ride off-road. These
motorcycles have an impressive 651cc single-cylinder, DOHC,
dual-counterbalanced, water-cooled engine. The previous generation
had a slightly smaller engine displacement at 564cc. The first
generation was even used in military applications with changes like
using diesel. If you have interest in this dual-sport motorcycle do
not hesitate to reach out to us. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a
full service dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery,
insurance, and financing options.
