Extra V8 power, a distinct color, and an upgraded A/C interior all
come together to give this 1966 Ford Mustang an appealing total
package. And as you look at all the details, it really shows off a
classic made for driving.
This was born a Tahoe Turquoise coupe, but with added ponies under
the hood of this pony car, it needed a better sense of speedy
style. So we're glad to see this a modern gray with a hint of
metallic sparkle. The finish isn't perfect, but it strikes the
right balance of a distinct look and a car that you can take out
for the weekend without getting nervous. And you'll see from the
full details that this one was meant to be driven. After all, those
Budnik 17-inch wheels not only add shine, but they also allow you
to upgrade the tires and brakes. And if you're looking to upgrade
this into a showstopper, it's also just nice to see good
fundamentals with nice body lines and the right trim in place.
When you open the door, you can tell there were nice investments in
comfort and style. The seats are reupholstered with black vinyl and
gray cloth inserts that are good for all-day comfort. The door
panels were also done to coordinate. The smooth dash, newer
carpeting, and even working courtesy lights are all details that
make this inviting. Plus, there are some worthwhile upgrades, like
the Kenwood AM/FM head unit, with aux input, Bluetooth, and modern
speakers. And we have a receipt from February 2022 showing that the
air conditioning was serviced to keep it blowing nice and cold.
Ford's 302 cubic-inch looks terrific in the engine bay, because
after all, it wasn't even yet available in the '66 Mustang. So it
makes for a great upgrade for a nice cruiser. It has good upgrades
like the Ford racing finned valve covers, an Edelbrock air grabber,
a Pertonix Flame-Thrower coil, upgraded pulleys, and an aluminum
radiator. The Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor lets the V8 inhale
deeply, and the dual exhaust makes a deep and fun rumble. It's a
strong-running pony car connected to a smooth three-speed automatic
transmission. Plus, power steering, power brakes, Wilwood upgraded
front discs, and grip of modern sports tires are all about a great
driving attitude.
Complete with maintenance records and currently on a restored
salvage title, this Mustang has the power, comfort, and poise that
you want. It makes for the iconic classic with a ton of driver
appeal. Call today!!!
