Vehicle Description
A pre-war Packard is a rare sight, and so this 1941 Packard 110
gets plenty of attention for just showing up. And with upgraded V8
power and a driver-ready style, this coupe can show up in plenty
more places.
This car has a cool presence, the maroon has a nice metallic to
highlight the curvy fenders, and the black has a touch of barn find
style. There's a beautiful trim line that starts at the hood and
looks around the rear to give this two-tone a clear dividing line.
And speaking of the trim, all the best brightwork features are in
place, like the triple waterfall grille, detailed chrome bumpers,
running board trim, and the shining Goddess of Speed leading the
way. The 110 line were the more popularly-priced Packards. But when
you are at this level of premium, they were infrequently seen when
new and are basically absent from the road 80+ years later. So
that's what gets us excited about this one. It has a clean and
complete look of a true classic and an overall style that will
never make you nervous to drive it. And as you look at the full
package, you can really see a classic made to be a true
cruiser.
Open the door to a vintage experience. The upholstery is done in a
premium striped cloth, the door panels are done to match, the dash
has the classic wood-like style, and the big steering wheel has the
beautiful Packard emblem in the center. Even the carpeted trunk
looks cool with the classic full-size spare. It all has the plush
feeling you want in a true cruiser. And the upgraded gauges give
you a complete picture of what's going on under the hood.
When you lift the butterfly hood, the golden engine block seems
right for a premium Packard. But this is actually a younger
Oldsmobile 350 cubic-inch V8. Not only is this more displacement
than what Packard offered, but it also loves upgrades. So you have
a Summit four-barrel carburetor and a Holley Street dominator
intake. There are more handy upgrades like a 200-4R automatic
transmission and electric cooling fan. It still has the classic car
feel, but Packards were known for their nice ride. And you even
have modern touring tires.
The value price leaves room in your budget if you want to give it a
respray, restore the overdrive to the transmission, or take this
one down a full restomod path. But none of that is necessary to
enjoy this Packard. After all, we really like how this gives you a
distinctive classic that was made to be an excellent cruiser. And
you get all of that on day one. Call today!!!
