This 1978 GMC K15 short bed recently underwent a two-year
restoration being completely rebuilt and badged as a Chevrolet K10.
Powered by a 454ci V8 engine backed by a freshly rebuilt 700R4
4-speed automatic transmission and a freshly rebuilt NP241C
transfer case. Equipped with large oval heads, chromed billet drive
accessories from CVT, new Dual Plane manifold, new carburetor,
full-length Hooker headers and custom exhaust. Additionally, it is
equipped with new fuel tanks, fuel lines, a dual tank valve, a new
heater, blower and a 4-core aluminum radiator with dual electric
fans. The painted chassis has been detailed and sits on 6-inch lift
springs in the front and rear with premium monotube shocks as well
as both axles have been completely rebuilt, the rear axle is an
8-lug, 9.5-inch GM 14-bolt complete with rear disc brakes, new
bearings, seals, rotors, calipers and pads. The front axle is an
8-lug, Dana 44 with factory disc brakes with new hubs, bearings,
seals and pads. As part of the restoration, the truck was finished
in Straight Black and updated with a completely new 1986 Chevrolet
C10 front clip using NOS parts, new body trim, glass and has new
electrical bumper to bumper. The custom interior features
diamond-stitched seats and with a custom center console, Dakota
Digital gauges, new air conditioning components and a custom sound
system as well as a factory tilt steering column with a custom
steering wheel. This custom truck rolls on 16x12 Mickey Thompson
wheels wrapped in 375/65R16 Mickey Thompson tires. **TITLE IN
