The Santa Fe is a sport utility vehicle produced by the South Korean manufacturer Hyundai since 2000. It was introduced for the 2001 model year as Hyundai's first SUV and was a huge success. The 2007 marks the 1st year of the 2nd generation Santa Fe and boasts a more contemporary look as well as reduced road and wind noise. Safety enhancements include Electronic Stability Control, side-curtain airbags for both rows, TPMS sensors, active front head restraints and ABS brakes. The interior was upgraded with blue lit dashboard controls, a gated shifter pattern and illuminated cup holders. We acquired this vehicle last December and did a complete mechanical restoration on it which cost over $3,500 in parts and outside labor. To see a detailed list of what was done “Click here”. Highlights of the new parts used include the timing belt, water pump, radiator, a/c condenser, struts, shocks, tires, brake pads, rotors, belts, hoses, fluids and filters. Additionally, it has an Alpine BT stereo, a remote starter and window tint. It runs incredibly well and is in need of nothing but having the bumpers repainted. We restored this with the attention of keeping it as a shop vehicle but have changed our mind.
