This Corvette rolled off the St Louis assembly plant in 1956 and
been re-imagined with modern technology but maintains its original
great looks. The choices of equipment and options make this car an
ideal blend of performance, safety, handling and comfort.

Having had a frame-off restoration, this 1956 Chevrolet Corvette
emerged fully customized, with seemingly just the right amount of
brightwork dancing off the fresh, deep black paint, headlined by
ultra-reflective 18-inch Boyd Coddington wheels. A 375/600 HP LS3
Chevrolet V-8 engine with Doug Thorley headers is nestled under the
hood, backed by a new Tremec TKO500 5-speed manual transmission and
a narrowed Moser 9-inch rear end.
The Corvette has just the right stance with improved ride and drive
qualities, and the ability to handle the power from the LS3, a lot
of thought effort was put into the chassis. The custom front
suspension is by Jim Meyers Racing, while Flaming River provided
the power rack-and-pinion steering system. A 4-bar setup with
aluminum coilover shocks featuring adjustable mounting points was
installed with Wilwood power-assisted 4-wheel disc brakes. Grip is
courtesy of Michelin high performance tires. Like the rest of the
car, the interior was completely refurbished in red with Al Knoch
custom leather Corvette racing seats highlighted in a beautiful
quilted pattern. The carpeting is also red and protected by red
"Corvette" branded floormats. The dashboard, painted red below the
red pad, black on top flowing under the windshield out to the cowl,
features custom white-faced Auto Meter Phantom gauges. The 15-inch
steering wheel, wrapped in red leather with a polished center
section, is perched on an adjustable chrome steering column. A
custom Bluetooth sound system allows for streaming of some personal
favorites while cruising.
The car comes with a clean title in the consignors name and is
exempt from California smog certification. Low rate financing is
