1966 CHRYSLER NEWPORT C-920 This 1966 Chrysler Newport is a
two-owner low miles 99% original since new. With a recent repaint
in original Daffodil Yellow with black original interior, it
features the 383ci Firepower engine with four-barrel which added a
10 hp increase to 325 hp, column shift Torque Flight automatic
transmission, power brakes, power steering, A/C, original stereo
that still works and with impeccable trunk and engine compartment.
The engine compartment exhibits newer coolant and heater hoses as
well as a new Edelbrock carburetor, chrome air filter cover,
Pertronix electronic coil, new fuel filter and new belts. The
unique design dash cluster instruments function as original, with
an auxiliary dual gauge featuring oil pressure and coolant
temperature installed below the dash. All glass, chrome, trims and
paint are excellent. All body and chassis components appear to be
original, with no damage or rust visible. The VIN and trim code
tags are original and are easily identified. This classic drives
easily, stops reliably and handles like a dream on the highway.
This 5th generation 1966 Chrysler Newport was built on the Chrysler
C platform, shared with the 300 and New Yorker, along with the
Dodge Polara and Plymouth Fury. Styling mimicked the square lines
of the Lincoln Continental and the 1964 Imperial, while wheelbases
increased 2 in to 124 in. The iconic body styles were continued
