STK 3232 2013 Chevrolet Corvette 60 Years Convertible
This stunning 2013 427 Convertible is a Z06 Corvette - and it is
not. The Corvette 427 Convertible had all of the mechanical
enhancements of the Z06, but Chevrolet did not officially consider
it to be a Z06 because they were designed from the ground up as a
coupe model only. This convertible has a much stiffer structure
than the coupe as it utilizes a hydro formed steel frame rather
than the Z06 aluminum component. Other than that, it is basically a
Z06. The powertrain was centered around Chevrolet's naturally
aspired LS-7 7.0L (428ci) powerplant that outputs 505bhp/470lb-ft.
(It was marketed as a 427, just because....) This dynamic engine is
backed by a Tremec TR-6060 6-speed manual gearbox and positraction
differential fitted with 3.42:1 gearing. The chassis utilizes power
steering and ABS brakes that feature 6f/4r piston calipers and
14.0"f/13.4"r cross-drilled ventilated rotors. Forged aluminum
wheels, (19x10"f/20x12"r) mount Michelin Z-rated performance
radials. The suspension design utilizes independent double
wishbones, transverse leaf springs, driver-adjustable dual-mode
'Tour/Sport' Magnetic Selective Ride Control dampers and front/rear
stabilizer bars. The model year 2013 was the 60th Anniversary of
the Chevrolet Corvette, an American icon. The Black factory finish
of this Corvette is in very good condition and is paired with a
premium Black leather interior, stunning and also in very good
condition. Comfort features include A/C, power tinted windows, tilt
wheel, power seats/locks/trunk, cruise and power assisted
convertible top. Other standard features include Navigation System,
Head-up display, Bose AM/FM/CD sound system, keyless entry and push
button start. All this, and everything else you can possibly
imagine, is included in Corvette 427 package. It is a modern-day,
luxury, open-air Corvette muscle car that belongs in your garage.
