1968 Oldsmobile 442 Holiday Coupe finished in Scarlet Red paint
with white accents, repainted to the original color (RR paint
code.) TRUE 442 CAR! This car is powered by the rebuilt,
era-correct 455 V8 that is paired up with a TKX 5-speed manual
transmission. The engine was rebuilt in 2018 and now has a Holley
Sniper EFI system (controls mounted on center console), Edelbrock
Performer Olds 455 intake, Performer aluminum heads, Offenhauser
valve covers, and Duggs headers. There is a folder of receipts that
will go with the car showing work done and what was purchased
including a Dyno sheet. The max horsepower on the dyno sheet
reached 454 hp, and 535 lb/ft of torque! Nicely equipped with power
steering, belt system, billet brackets, Be Cool aluminum radiator,
power brakes, AM radio, and Vintage Air A/C! A/C BLOWS COLD! Paint
is in great shape, chrome and brightwork in just as nice shape!
Riding on the Oldsmobile wheels with BFGoodrich Radial tires.
Parchment vinyl strato-bucket seat interior (trim code 947, A51
seats) with center console and 5-speed on the floor; interior was
also restored along the line. Seats and headliner in great shape
and in 1968 would have shoulder belts as well as lap belts; all
seat belts are intact on this car. Horn, wipers, tachometer, and AM
radio both in working order. There was a tag found on this car when
the interior was being redone, about the size of a business card,
that had the Lansing body number, interior trim, and other interior
codes on it! The tag can be found in the still pictures. This car
will also come with Flatstoppers, model car, and a fire
extinguisher. Trumpet tipped rear exiting dual exhaust, gotta have
it. Great sounding Oldsmobile 442!
