Vehicle Description
This 1985 Chevrolet Blazer K5 has been updated to be an all-around
useful 4x4. It includes a fuel-injected V8, an overdrive
transmission, and an A/C interior. But more than just practical,
you don't need any excuse to enjoy the vintage style of a bright
two-tone classic SUV.
The two-tone on this one makes it an instant standout. After all,
these K5 Blazers have an all-American attitude, and this red and
white combo seems to bring it out with all the appeal of a
Coca-Cola bottle. There are nice brightwork pieces like the shining
new chrome bumpers, clean grille, new side mirrors, and Silverado
full-length trim that add to the classic look. But the best details
might just be how the white roof section in front and lower white
paint coordinate nicely with the removable fiberglass rear roof
section. It gives this one a nice look of completeness with the top
on or off. There was an update later in life to keep this looking
glossy, and the top was even given a smoother style. But don't let
all this flair keep you from enjoying this full-size Blazer to the
fullest. After all, the lifted 4x4 stance, upgraded bright LED
lights, and proper tow hitch mean this goes well beyond the urban
lifestyle.
There's more tasteful red inside. The deep burgundy vinyl is a
terrific later upgrade. It has a fresh and comfortable feel, and it
also has a durable style for any time you want to take the hardtop
off. The front bucket seats not only have high-back comfort, but
also there's a cup holder center console in-between. As you look
around from the driver's seat, you can see all the right
investments, including Vintage Air R134a air conditioning, a new
dash pad, and an AM/FM/CD stereo with Bluetooth. Plus, the updated
steering wheel is on a tilt column to give you a good view of the
new Dakota Digital gauge package.
The engine bay gives a stock and tidy first impression of a hardy
350 cubic-inch small block. But those black Chevrolet valve covers
invite you to investigate further. There you'll start to see some
terrific upgrades, like the Holley Terminator X fuel injection.
There's also a Holley distributor, ignition, fuel pump, and fuel
tank to work with the EFI system. And there's a nice set of headers
feeding into the dual exhaust. It's a powerful setup, and that
makes it nice for 4x4 duty. The two-speed 4x4 transfer case,
three-inch suspension lift, and newer BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/As
are also nice for when the pavement ends. But this one is also
built for any day driving. The four-speed automatic transmission
has overdrive for easy highway cruising. Plus, power steering,
power brakes, and front discs are great for all trips near or
far.
This is the distinct two-tone K5 Blazer that's upgraded for style
and substance. So when a classic 4x4 is already done just the way
you want it, you know you don't miss this deal. Call today!!!
