This car has been owned by the same gentleman for over 20 years and was restored by us then but has barely 5000 miles since.
XKs Motorsport performed a complete nut and bolt, bare to the frame restoration during 2001-3 with upgrades to the car, including many SE level mechanicals and beyond.
Chassis and body-
- added rear tube shocks
- added front disk brakes
-louvered hood
-deleted top, side screens, and fender mirrors.
-repainted with 2001 Jaguar color Sea Frost
-reupholstered with BAS Ltd suede green and dark green Wilton wool carpets.
-dash and side panels modified to burnished aluminum.
-added shoulder harnesses.
-added Brooklands steering wheel
Drivetrain-
-original motor rebuilt and balanced
-enlarged valves
-converted to mild street cam.
-lightened flywheel
-added 2” SU carbs
-added tube headers 3 into 2 with twin exhaust
-converted to 5 speed all synchro transmission

-new tires
-flushed petrol tank and replaced fuel pump
-replaced ignition system and alternator
-boiled radiator and replaced water pump and belt
