Sema show car. Only 2,320 miles since a no expense spared Pro
Touring build. A Mustang collector in conjunction with SVP
Unlimited and TheMustangSource.com built this beautiful, yet
menacing Shelby tribute. Known as Project T-67, T for Terminater
(the engine) and 67 for the year. SVP Unlimited is a performance
and restoration shop specializing in Mustangs. They took this car
down to a bare shell on a rotisserie, no corners were cut.
EXTERIOR: It was completely taken apart and soda blasted bare and
put on a rotisserie. Any rust was removed and premium Dynacorn
replacement panels were correctly installed. A lot ot time was
spent making it laser straight with excellent gaps. It was given
the Shelby treatment with the fiberglass hood, side scoops and
dovetail trunk. The fiberglass hoods were known to bow like this
one has. Painted Indigo Ink Pearl with pearl white Super Snake
stripes. It is polished smooth and glossy, no issues. It is
finished off with Shelby GT 500 emblems and gas cap. In front is a
Shelby grill with inboard lights. In back are Shelby taillights
with modernized sequential turn signals. All chrome and stainless

replaced. The power top was restored- replaced the pump, hoses,
weatherstrips and white convertible. It rolls on 18x8 and 18x9 Boze
forged aluminum wheels ($890 ea) with performance tires.
INTERIOR: It was a gutted bare shell. The metal was made perfect,
the floors were modified for the modern seats. It was then lined
with sound deadener. Painless wiring harness was used throughout
the car, updated fuse block with modern fuses. Very adjustable
bucket seats were used from a modern Mustang. The seats and door
panels were custom upholstered. A custom console was made. The dash
pad, bezels, knobs were all replaced. It was given a matched set of
Pro Comp white face gauges. Beautiful Shelby style steering wheel.
The stereo is Bluetooth and has kick panel speakers. The roll bar
is upholstered to match the paint scheme.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has SVT Cobra Terminater motor. Each motor
was hand assembled and signed by its builders. It's a supercharged
4.6 liter featuring a nodular block, forged crankshaft, forged
rotating assembly, dual overhead cam and 32 valves. It makes over
400 hp and 390 lbs of torque. Ceramic coated headers were custom
fittedforthis car. The supercharger is cooled with a heat
exchanger, stainless braided hoses and an aluminum reservoir. There
is a Hydro boost power steering and brake system. There is an air
conditioning system tucked in there too. The upgraded suspension
allowed for the shock towers to be removed, the engine bay is
painted.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It's been boxed and carpeted. The battery is
relocated to the trunk and is hidden behind a panel, it has a
removable disconnect switch. A carpet mat was made with T67
embroidered on it.
UNDERSIDE: Griggs Racing GR350 chassis system. This is a complete
high performance, high tech suspension/steering system that is
claimed to out handle a modern Mustang with the same set up. Up
front it has a substantial anti roll bar, custom K- member, tubular
upper control arms, adjustable lower control arms, Koni adjustable
coil over gas shocks and a rack & pinion steering. Welded tubular
frame connectors tie the front to the back and prevent body twist.
In back it has a floating torque arm rear with a Watts link system,
Koni coil over adjustable gas shocks and adjustable tubular control
arms. It has a Baer brake system that will stop on a dime. Color
matched 6 piston calipers front and back, 14 inch 2 piece drilled
and slotted rotors, stainless lines and hoses, e-brake system. 3
inch stainless exhaust with x-pipe, welded joints, polished
MagnaFlow mufflers and GT tips. Custom fuel system with a stainless
tank, electric fuel pump, a return system and braided stainless
hoses. Looking up at the motor it has a remote oil filter with
braided stainless hoses and a high torque starter. It has a Shelby
GT 500 Tremec 6-speed with a hydraulic clutch. Rebuilt 8.8 Ford
posi rear. The floors, frame rails, torque boxes are spotless metal
painted satin black. Remote battery terminals are located under the
rear corner.
The end result is a car the handles like a sports car, stops on a
dime and accelerates like a rocket. It also has stunning good
looks. The best part is that it is done and ready right now. The
build took several years to finish, not to mention all the money,
time and thought. All you have to do is sign a check!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a
particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car.
Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you
will be given a 1 year membership.
