1968 Corvette Stingray Convertible Go Speed-racer Go! This is
really a cool car! A 1968 Stingray Convertible 327ci 350HP with a
NUMBERS MATCHING DRIVELINE. This Corvette has the Original Dealer
Added Option CustomHeadlight Relocation kit that the previous
owners had opted for a long time ago. They work great and add a
Mako look to already a very sleek car. When was the last time you
have seen the headlights relocated on the C3? There were a few
converted as it was a popular choice for those whom simply weren't
a fan of the newly re-designed larger pop up headlights or the slow
and leaky vacuum process. It was probably done when purchased new
as the one-piece nose was revealed and the quality was noticed when
paint was stripped down and the Stingray was re-painted in Red; And
WOW, it looks Great! Check out the, again; 'Ultra Cool and Old
School' Slotted Alloy Mag Wheels. They are in Incredible shape and
look awesome wrapped in RWL BFGs all they way around. Convertible
Vettes have always been a favorite of many and this one stands out
in any crowd. Nice solid car underneath and it's clear that routine
maintenance was never overlooked. Convertible top is free of tears
and looks good, the rear window is showing some yellowing from age.
In 1968 the Corvette sported a completely redesigned body and
interior. The results are a sleeker, curvaceous body that was an
instant hit. The sexy lines of this generation Corvette stand our
today and continue to be very sought after. Add a bit of pizazz and
you have thumbs way up eye catcher that is widely recognizable.
