This 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible is a premium
classic convertible with nice power options, a new top, slick
paint, and its numbers-matching V8. But that's not what first
caught your eye. After all, those modern wheels let this one stand
above the rest...literally.
This was born a Palm Green drop-top, and while that looks good on a
1970s machine, this is an upgraded cruiser. So the modern upgrade
to dark green is ideal. It still keeps some of the original
attitude, but now it has timeless appeal. That's especially true
because it's a quality application with a good gloss that helps
highlight the well-fitting body panels. Bright chrome bumpers that
hug the form, full-length side trim, and 442-style dual exhaust
tips make this look good. But what attracts all the attention are
those 22-inch Forgiato wheels. They strike the right look of a
sporty bold style with a touch of Donk appeal.
The tan roof is a newer piece that fits well and has a nice glass
back window. So this Olds looks great with the roof in place. But
we also really like the style when you take it down. The Jade
interior gives you that classic style that's always fun to show
off. After all, an olive-like color with plenty of wood-like trim
is pure 1970s cool. It has a highly original style, which is
imperfect, but impressive considering this has passed the
half-century mark. In fact, you'll be hard-pressed to find any
upgrades besides the Forgiato steering wheel that thoughtfully
matches the exterior alloys. And you'll spot plenty of terrific
features like the front bucket seats, a center console, in-between,
a floor shifter, and provisions for factory air conditioning (it
will need to be hooked up again and serviced.) Plus, power windows
and a power convertible top are a great duo to make it easy to open
this Olds up to the world.
Oldsmobile people know that real Olds motors have a great hardy
reputation, and this is the numbers matching 350 cubic-inch V8 in
the engine bay. It looks very well maintained with the bright
golden block, newer hoses, newer wires, and a four-barrel
carburetor on top. And the way this fires up and runs reaffirms its
strong and respected nature. Plus, power steering, power brakes,
front discs, newer BMR rear springs, and a three-speed automatic
transmission make for an easy all-around cruiser.
The sale comes complete with the factory buildsheet, original
warranty card, and owner's manual. Well-done originality with a
little extra flair added into the mix. This really shows off what a
premium Olds drop-top classic is all about. So don't miss this
value-price deal. Call today!!!
