Vehicle Description
With a timeless color combo, V8 power, and the desirable hardtop
profile, this 1963 Ford Falcon is a stylish classic coupe offered
for quite an attractive price.
The Ford Falcon has matured into a well-proportioned classic that
also knows how to add the right flair. This is especially seen on
the top-of-the-line Futura Sprint trim. Its premium status means
this Falcon is dressed to impress with stylish upgrades like the
dual bombsight fender ornaments up front and the side has
full-length trim that looks like an arrow pointing this coupe
forward. This also has a bit of a sporty attitude everywhere with
the upgraded 17-inch wheels with spinners and the way the bumper is
notched so you get an even better look at the afterburner-like tail
lights. The red paint fits into this sporty attitude, too. It's an
upgrade from later in life, and today it retains a nice gloss while
still fitting in with the vintage style.
The black interior is one of the most desirable combos against a
cherry red exterior. It's a later upgrade that has a clean and
deep/dark appearance that's absolutely attractive. The front bucket
seats with a center console in-between are another reminder of the
Futura Sprint's upper-level trim. And we love the trim details,
like the way the dash brightwork wraps around to the doors, and
there are the correct insignias in the seatbacks. It really has a
vintage style everywhere, but the SunPro auxiliary readouts and
dash-mounted tach are the right reminders that this one has been
given investments to be a proper driver. And because this is a V8
coupe, it's quite fun to roll down all the windows on this
pillarless hardtop and listen to the dual exhaust's tune as you
cruise around town.
Those who know the Falcon's history will get excited at the engine
bay. The V8 was only offered at the very end of the first
generation's run in 1963, and it hinted at the cool cars with big
power potential that were just around the corner. So it's great to
see this one upgraded to a 289 cubic-inch displacement that would
become available later in the series. It fires up eagerly and makes
for a strong driver. Plus, the automatic transmission, power
steering, and newer modern tires make for a solid cruiser.
This is the affordable and interesting hardtop classic that's
proving to be a fine deal. So don't miss out, call today!
