Vehicle Description
This 1965 Ford Mustang GT tribute is a true driver's car that's
made to be noticed when it's out on the streets. A bold color, cool
upgrades, and b V8 power make it an ideal way to cruise an
icon.
There were yellows in the Mustang color palette for 1965, but none
of them were as bold as this. It's a distinctive shade with an
overall finish that's ready to hit the road, and so this seems like
the right kind of impression for a coupe that was upgraded to a GT.
It has all the right details you love, like the fog lights in the
grille, GT badges, deleted bumper guards, and dual exhaust mounted
through the rear valance. And the styled steel wheels are a
terrific part of this icon, too. Plus, not only do you have the
classic rocker stripe, but this upgrades the sporty attitude with
over-the-top racing stripes done in an attractive black.
For the same reason we like the look of the black stripes against
the yellow paint, we love the full black interior against the
yellow exterior. It has a good look with clean carpeting, a smooth
dash, a good headliner, and newer upholstery. Even the interior
lights still greet you when the door opens. And this has the right
driver's car feel with front bucket seats, a wood-rimmed steering
wheel, a floor shifter for the three-speed automatic, and added
engine temp readout.
This was born a C-code coupe, and so it's nice to have a correct
displacement 289 cubic-inch V8 still under the hood. But this GT
tribute gets added pep by inhaling deeper with a four-barrel
carburetor. And it exhales with a nice tune into a newer H-pipe
dual exhaust. Overall, it has the right look of maintenance,
including newer items, like the wires, battery, master cylinder,
and power brake booster. As you look underneath, you'll also spot
investments in the front end that make this a more confident
driver, including newer bushings and front disc brakes.
This classic is both distinctive and a driver. So if you want to
stand out in all the best ways, don't miss this GT tribute. Call
